Hafezian (A Man from the Regulations and Mirror Race)

Enduring Face in Literature and Faith

 

He had an old face with bright skin, intelligent and effective eyes with a glance that penetrates in depth of spirit. His nose like a balance equilibrated both brows. He had thin lips which always were shaded by sweet smiles. The upper lip was on the downer one, he sat beautifully and you thought he uncovered a mystery. His beard and mustache were very clean. Totally, his face was luminous and very attractive. He was a tall man and always wore a cloth as tall as himself which always was white and bright and put on a robe without cloak on this cloth and as a result of that his length was added. At the parish he put on a short turban. He spoke finely and you had to consider him. When he heard an extraordinary word, he said twice continuously La Ilaha Ila Allah. He never gaffed. His courtesy was conjugated with elegance and magnificence, like a waterfall. He, like a tree, never withheld people of his different and weighty fruits. He spread his shoots to reach everyone. My father was one of his friends and was aware of his knowledge of strange sciences and his theosophy. Two contemporary men were Seyed Abul-Hassan Hafezian (RA) and Seikh Al-Taefe Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Mojtaba Qazvini (RA) of my father’s friends and believed in Segregation Ideology[1]. In the year 1338 (AH) and according to this friendship, father took me from the Science and Relidion High school to Mashhad and entrusted me to these two great men, Seyed Abul-Hassan Hafezian (RA) and Seikh Al-Taefe Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Mojtaba Qazvini (RA), in order to learn Islamic literary science. Hafezian (RA) went to India and Pakistan after its emergence between the end of November and early May and another six months he stayed at Mashhad. When my father took me to him at his house at the Sarab station, near the mokbel mmosque, Hafezian (RA) ordered me to visit him one hour before evening and ate dinner with him and then I came back home. Haj Sheikh Mojtaba Qazvini like Hafezian (RA) had both knowledge and ethic like the mountains verge of Hamoon. He familiarized me with the contemporary great Arabic master, Hojato Al-Hagh Sheikh Muhammad Taqi Adib Neyshabouri renowned to Adib Sani, and during four years I learned Behjat O Al-Marziyeh Moghni and Motavval books and other some books, there. The description of my learning and their ethics and Ghetmir[2] of it is efficient for happiness of every science and ethic lovers and I never forget it[3]. Here, this subject has been narrated in order to make you understand my penchant to Hafezian (RA) and Haj sheikh Mojtaba Qazvini (RA); Haj Sheikh taught me Jami Description in order to follow my works, Valuable descriptive book, from the early winter of the year 1338 immediately after learning Kharej Lesson for more than 50 first class thoughtful people. But, I didn’t know that this work is similar to learning Atomic Physic to guidance school’s student by a first class master. The book of Jami Description had not so many advocates in Mashhad Seminary and I complained him some days after starting lesson because I didn’t find anyone to discuss with him. This great man knew himself that discussion is one of the basics of classical learning Islamic lessons so; he taught me in the mornings and discussed the previous lesson with me at the evening. Because I was so young, I didn’t aware of this self sacrifice and he also emphasized me, didn’t speak anyone about this discussion and I since my father narrated me a story about the obedience necessity of spiritual leader so, I was careful about that and I always tried my best in order to do it; and this is that story” Imam Sajjad (AS) went to Mecca by some of his partners. During this time, he selected one of them and not only talked with him at his litter but also, bended his knee during climbing and emphasized that partner to put his foot on his knee and that man obeyed Imam. Other partners had a grudge against him and monitored his prayers in order to find some effects about this respect but they didn’t more than what themselves doing. So, they went to Imam in order to ask about that’s reasons. Imam said them, you will be known soon. After some days, Imam wanted the other man to follow him in his litter. This man was very happy. Imam bended his knee again and said him, climb. That man shamed and disobeyed this order. Imam emphasized him but he couldn’t do this. Imam said audiences, this is your answer. The mystery of this selection is that, the first partner never halts and shame cannot inhibit him in order to obey the Imam’s order. He knows that, doing Imam’s order is necessary”. My father said, O’ Son! If the vouchers of this Hadis are not be valid, the subject is true and I want you be like that great partner at the presence of Abul-Hassan Hafezian and Haj Sheikh Mojtaba Qazvini. In order to obey of this father’s order when these two great men wanted me to didn’t speak with others about something, I did not speak with myself anymore. Hafezian (RA) has sweet and bright word and diction. He was the symbol of kind man and prophet’s manner. Do you ever sit among some people who speak with you and look at you but truly they are in other place? These people are among you but their sprit is in another place. They don’t know you in their position and level. But, Hafezin (RA) like my father and Haj Sheikh Mojtaba Qazvini (RA), didn’t be tired of companionship with anyone with any level of knowledge and at any position. Although, the visitor has been advantaged of his knowledge and sweet diction, he interested in companionship with everyone at any levels. Hafez said, “We need him and he desired in us”. Hafezian (RA) was similar to “Troth”, “Innocence” and “Honesty” that, like a good smell transmit you when stay beside them. This great man was honorable and innocence. He never doubtful anyone and he wasn’t a jealous man. He was interested in everyone’s prosperity and success and respected every excellence, skill, art and knowledge. He was full of literary penchant and good hand writing. He didn’t eat anything except tea between primary meals, like my father. Some of his specific properties are listed below;

He was provide himself with ablution;

He never reclined either at the presence of others or when he was alone;

Although sometimes he was alone, he was polite and you thought there was someone else there.

Another property of him is included, true and not apparent virtue. The root of this virtue can be explored in his disdain sprit. I remember I asked my father that, why some of God men have explored alchemy never less they shouldn’t seek materials. He responded me, the real alchemy is disdain. They needed alchemy because it gave them disdain not to seek materials. I don’t know Hafezian (RA) by which way reached this disdain but I believe he had disdain. Of his remarkable properties was devotion to Islam prophet (PBHU), Amir Al-Momenin (AS), twelve Imams particularly Imam Reza (AS). Sometimes he entered through the Goharshd Mosque and song this Poem;

“Lam Yakheb Alaan Man Rajaka Va Man

Harraka Men Doone Babake Al-Halgha”

This means that, anyone who trust you and come to your house, never be chill. This poem is belonged to a man lived in Meddina, who went to Imam Hossein (AS) and wanted him something. Imam (AS) gave him some thousand Dinars as he didn’t come out and didn’t show his face and said this is so little and I shame to come out. This man said how this merciful hand will go under soil?! This means that, merciful people are ever alive. The most important spiritual concerns by him were the pain about Amir Al-Momenin’s (AS) right. He loved all fourteen innocent Imams (AS). He often read eulogia poems of Arabic poets about Imams. He particularly song the “Molla Masiha” poem[4] about Hazrat Amir (AS) eulogy which I heard by my father;

“Ma Artahto Mozrakebat Lel-Bayne Jeyrani

Ya Sahebbiya Be Etlafi Ajeyrani”

This poem means that, I am not calm since my neighbors have left me; O’ God guard me.

Man Li Be Asefe Shamlallen Yoballeghonni,

Ela Al-Ghara Fa Yolgheyanni Va Yansanni

Ela Al-Lazi Faraza Al-Rahmano Taatoho

Ala Al-Bariyah Men Jennen Va Insanen

Ali-enMorteza Al-HAvi Medaehaho,

Asfaro Toraten Bal Ayato Quranen

Tanazzaho Al-Rabbo An Meslen Yokharrebona,

Be-Innaho Va Rosola Allah Seyyan

Rahabo Al-Akofen Iza Faazat Anamoloho,

LoLam Yaghol Hasabo Sanayi Yoma Toofanen[5]

This means that, where is that fast horse to reach me to Najaf and came back; Reach me to someone who God has obligated following him with human; Reach me to Morteza Ali who has been respected by Torat’s trips and Quran; His uniqueness resembled him like a prophet; He is a merciful man that from his fingers tip merciful fountains are roared and if don’t say him “stop”, he will repeat Nooh’s storm. Since, one of the most remarkable properties of this great man was his kindness. Here, I want you let me present him my kindness poem to him;

Kindness

Blessed those who in this offensive world,

Have spent their life in a good work

Although they wandered around the world like a sun;

They has illuminated in front of others

They has supported tired men in a pity weald,

As same as mountain’s greatness and constancy

Although they sedated their spirit by crying like a cloud;

They cried privacy like a rainy night

They were happy by each breeze and;

Have put their hands on their head like a bud

They have ten tongues but they are quite like a Lily;

They companied with thousand sounds

They have battled in remembrance of youthful age;

Like an old buttonwood which produced new leaves at spring

Those people who lived good at this world;

They weren’t die, they are alive

I song this part like a pearl from Garmaroud;

To dedicate those who have self sacrificed their life

Dr. Seyed Ali Mousavi Garmaroudi, Tehran, 20th Bahman, 1389.

This poem is stated below has been gave me by Dr. Garmaroudi from my father’s hand writings. It should be mentioned that, he wrote this poem in the back of his photo and because Dr. Garmaroudi was a poet, he gave it to him (Firouzeh Hafezian).

O’ my Seyedi! See this sad Seyed;

Bring me balm, don’t bite me

Sometimes I go under sun and other times I fall on ground;

What am I said about biography and pre- resurrection

I spend all my life and assets in the way of mosque like,

Wine glass, opium box and hashish

Pray this Seyed every morning;

Maybe God grants this Darvish

I left Sheikh, youth, mentor, leader and Warden;

I forgot everyone, both myself and the others
